I am Dave, David Crowley actually, of Baltimore, MD. IAMDAVE is the name by which I do business as a computer programmer. Along with a small group of trusted partners, I design and develop a variety of applications for the web, desktop, and mobile devices.
I was born and raised in Wilmington, DE, went to college in Gettysburg, PA, and made a quick stop in New York before planting my feet here in MD. I was lucky enough to meet my wife, Jude, in college. Other than that, I only left there with a fairly useless History degree. After realizing that, I taught myself how to program computers and made it both my hobby and work.
I love what I do. I am continually learning, which brings me to the blog: I hope to pass along some useful knowledge to others trying to learn and get better at this trade. I could not have made it without some very helpful blogs that I still read today.
